Greetings from Tarija.
This is Soledad and her daughter. I met them in the street one day when I asked for directions to Parque Bolivar that is a park near my house. This was last year when I was a little lost and I couldn’t figure our how to orient myself to get home. I introduced myself to Soledad and gave her a flier for El Camino and she walked with me as she was headed in the same direction. As we talked, I told her what we do in El Camino and told her she would always be welcomed at the different activities or just come in for a cup of tea. In April she finally came and we drank some tea and talked. Please pray for her as she is passing through a difficult economic situation and it is harder as she is a single mom and has to work hard to take care of her daughter and she is having to pay off a debt to the bank.
In April we had a nice women’s tea. We earned how to make a type of sweet bread (media lunas) with our sister Noemi. Noemi now lives pretty far away, but I love to see her interested in helping in this and the bread was delicious. I shared about some things from Psalm91, especially verse 4. The Almighty reminds us that under His wings we are secure and only in Him do we have protection; that He loves us and wants to take care of us like a hen over her chicks. I am very thankful to God for how He has worked in the lives od my children and all my family. He is our safe refuge where we can go day to day.
Blessings from the Almighty on all of you.
