Hello Brothers and Sisters.
It gives us great pleasure to greet you. We desire that our good All-powerful Lord guide you and bless you.
Psalms 5:11-12 tells us, “But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.”
After all this time waiting, we are so glad to be here in Tarija! We hope that all of you who have prayed for us and supported us, can rejoice also. Not only because we have arrived, but we rejoice because God has been a refuge and a constant. God is good and His goodness covers us.
We are very thankful for your prayers for the team and my family so that we could come to Bolivia. We arrived on the 26th of February. The trip went well and the kids especially had good attitudes during the trip.
On our first week in Tarija, we got to know the city and the people a little bit and will continue to learn more. Ronald and Noemi are a couple we knew in Sucre that now live in Tarija and they are helping us learn how to get around the city and look for apartments. The apartment we share with Angela and Pilar right now is temporary but it is close to the center so we can get around easily.
Tarija is a very pretty place. Mountains surround the city and there is greenery everywhere in the city. The climate has been great as we enter into Autumn. We've enjoyed the fresh fruit, especially the grapes that grow in this area. Most people seem to be warm and kind as we interact with them at the stores and a specific lady at the park.
We ask for your prayers that we find apartments and that God guides us to people who are seeking.
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31
God bless you.
A strong hug we send you.
