Home Bible Study

On Saturday nights at Raúl and Verónica's house, we (myself along with Pancho) have a study time about seeking the truth. These are the parents of little Angel who was born without one arm and lost his other arm last year due to being hit by a truck.

They are interested in continuing to learn the truth through the Bible. Some of the topics we have talked about is that it's not just about being baptized out of emotion without knowing what it means to be a follower of Christ.

They have been inviting Manuel, a friend of theirs who lives alone, to the studies. He's from the countryside and lives very far from the city of Tarija. He also has expressed a desire to follow Christ by learning the truth. Manuel didn't have the opportunity to go to elementary school as a child, which is why he can't read or write. He attended a Mormon church some time ago but doesn't know much about the Bible. He has expressed that he wants to continue learning the Word of God and obeying the gospel.

It's very good, and it encourages me when people are invited to their home to study the Word of God. You can meet them and share with them in a family atmosphere. Please pray for this home Bible study and the people who are coming.
