Hello to our family in Christ!
It gives us much pleasure to share with you news about a new month that God has blessed us with. As Psalm 71:5-6 says:
“For you have been my hope, Sovereign Lord, my confidence since my youth. From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother’s womb. I will ever praise you.”
We praise God who guides us, who helps us, who strengthens is so that we can continue forward in the path of Faith and Courage.
During the last weeks we have searched for apartments where we could live. We visited a lot and finally decided on one that is in a good location. It is close to the universities, markets, school for the kids, parks and the center plaza. It is in an area where we would like a contact center (El Camino) to work. We are sharing the apartment with Angela and Pilar for a time since in the same building another apartment should open up in a few months. It is a great help for the kids living so close together .
We are trying to make contact with people we met years ago and little by little we know that the community of Christ will grow. Lourdes (a member of the church in Sucre who now lives in Argentina) has family here. We met her brother, Samuel, years ago and he is also a member of the church. We invited him and his brother Luis to come over the other night. It was good to see them after so many years and we made plans to do somethings together. Our hope is the spend some time with them and form a strong bond of friendship with them.
We have also been working on paperwork for our ID cards that we have to renew and also trying to get Caleb’s visa done.
