Prayer Time and Hospitality

On Fridays we invite people to share a meal and pray together at the new church building. We're excited about the new location and want to take advantage of it by doing various activities; one of them is cooking and sharing a bite of food with those who attend.

Another of the facility's goals is to temporarily house people in extreme need who lack the resources, allowing them to see God's mercy and concern for them. We saw Don Julio's condition: he's vulnerable due to old age, lacks adequate nutrition, and his living situation is not good (no electricity or water and a leaky roof), because of this his health has declined, and loneliness has been affecting him. We decided to offer him a room in the apartment that we rent for the church to better meet his needs and help him with his food. At the beginning of the week, I prepare enough food for him to last a few days. He is grateful but still doing poorly with his health and the church has been helping him get labs done to see what is going on. Please pray for him- for his health but even more so His spiritual life.
