The Calm After the Storm

One day he got into a boat with his disciples, and he said to them, “Let us go across to the other side of the lake.” So they set out, and as they sailed he fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water and were in danger. And they went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” And he awoke and rebuked the wind and the raging waves, and they ceased, and there was a calm. He said to them, “Where is your faith?” Luke 8:22-24

My family has gone through a very tough storm. Our baby, Caleb, was hospitalized for 2 weeks after his birth. For the first week he was in the NICU in critical condition, but thanks to God his second week he was stable and spent that time recovering. We are blessed because God gave us the help we needed at just the right time! He used the doctors, and supplied the resources they needed to take care of Caleb. God sustained us with strength and the courage to endure this trial. We are full of gratitude to God because He gave us Caleb and because He has healed him. Now we are happily celebrating having Caleb in our arms. Thank you, all of our family and friends, for your prayers and support that you have given to us!

We are SO grateful, God Bless!
