“Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.” James 5:7-8
This year has been different, plans for many have been put on hold and have not been able to move forward as expected. This is also the case with our mission team with the plans to go to Argentina. It is the same that many are experiencing the need to get their jobs back and continue with their projects. And while we are waiting for things to normalize, God is teaching us to be patient.
We need to pray much more, asking for wisdom and waiting on the time God has in store. Until we are able to go back to full time work, we are still ministering, serving our families and friends. God is using us in diverse ways to bring His blessing to others. My wife and I are doing evangelism at home. Currently, our friend David is seeking God and has asked for our help. Lorie has been having devotionals with a group of young mothers from Sucre, Bolivia each week from Zoom.
May God bless you and thank you for praying with us about the present and future service in God’s Kingdom!
