February

Updated: Mar 23, 2023

February was a crazy month and one with a lot of blessings!

Nehemias reading scripture during church

The school year started. Nehemias is growing fast and is now in sixth grade. I am happy for him and also sad and tender as a mom. I’m proud of the boy he is- with a big heart and how he helps at church following the path of the family and the Teacher of teachers. God is always good.

I am very thankful that we have been able to continue to visit the people we are getting to know. We always call or text people too inviting them to church or to activities. Some are kind and some don’t respond but we keep talking to them, thrusting that God has control of His work. I am content to see people we have invited at church and am encouraged to see how God works.

We traveled to Sucre again during the carnival holiday. The church in Sucre had a retreat where my husband and son Doddy gave classes. I am thankful to God for the way He is using my son in service to His work. I ask that you continue to pray for Doddy, that God will continue to use him for His purpose in Christ.

My family with Lourdes and her son Liam and Don Julio

Here we are sharing a good meal that I prepared to celebrate the move to Tarija of our sister in Christ Lourdes and her son Liam. We are happy to see them again after many years. She was a member of the church in Sucre before moving to Argentina. It’s incredible to see how God brings people back together after so long. We also shared the meal with Don Julio who has been coming to El Camino and came to church for the first time that day.I love to share the blessings of our Heavenly Father and to remember the example of our Lord Jesus Christ who spent time sharing food with others with great joy and happiness.

Thank you all for always helping and caring for the team and our families. May God be with you, guide your lives and guard your hearts. Thank you for being such a great example for our lives.

Greetings and blessings to all.
